The Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) has renewed its partnership with the Brazilian National eSports Confederation (CBDEL) for the second consecutive term. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing, promoting, developing, and safeguarding esports across Asia and Brazil, driving global collaboration in the industry.
The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by AESF Director General Mr. Sebastian Lau and Mr. Daniel Cossi, CBDEL International Affairs and Representative for the President, signifies a two-way collaboration focusing on cross-continental initiatives, including event support, cultural exchange, and academic development programs.
As part of the academic exchange program, Brazilian universities will have the opportunity to participate in the AESF University Partnership Program. This initiative promotes academic collaboration and innovation, bridging education and esports development.
The cultural exchange program will offer multidisciplinary classes, hands-on experiences in real esports arenas, health and wellness education, and cultural city tours, enriching the esports community through shared learning and cross-cultural appreciation.
In addition, AESF and CBDEL will collaborate on esports-related events such as competitions, webinars, forums, and summits, reinforcing their integration into the broader esports ecosystem and facilitating greater exposure for Brazilian esports on the global stage.
AESF Director General Mr. Sebastian Lau shared, "The renewal of our partnership with CBDEL marks an exciting new chapter in our shared journey to elevate the global esports ecosystem. This continued collaboration strengthens ties between Asia and Brazil while opening new pathways for innovation, cultural exchange, and talent development for our members. We look forward to further developing impactful programs that bridge continents, empower the next generation of esports professionals, and create sustainable growth opportunities."
