The Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) is proud to welcome the Bangladesh Youth Development & Electronic Sports Association (BYDESA) as a development member.
Founded at the start of 2022, BYDESA’s efforts are seeing a sure uptick in Esports interest around the country, with participation in multiple international tournaments as well as the organization of local competitions and workshops slated in their current roadmap. BYDESA aims to educate, inspire and train and guide the future of the youth and talented Esports athletes in Bangladesh.
The most popular games in Bangladesh include Dota 2, CS:GO, League of Legends, FIFA, eFootball, MLBB, Valorant, Hearthstone, Call of Duty and Apex Legends, so we hope to soon see a number of high-level teams and contestants from this South Asian country.
In an official statement, BYDESA President Arefa Parvin Taposhe expressed his excitement in joining the AESF:
“We would like to thank AESF for giving us the opportunity to be part of the RDAG campaign and we look forward to the future where we can support the industry along with AESF and all other member nations and create a better future for the world of esports.”
With this latest development, it is hoped that Esports would continue to grow and flourish in Bangladesh for many years to come.
