The Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) recently established a partnership with HealthyGaming, an organization committed to promoting health and well-being within the gaming and esports communities, focusing on physical and mental health advocacy, awareness, and support.
The joint collaboration will leverage the strengths of both organizations to focus on enhancing the health and well-being of individuals within the esports community through health awareness and educational initiatives. This includes organizing workshops and seminars covering ergonomics, mental health support, nutrition, and exercise for esports athletes and enthusiasts. Collaboration on research projects to study the health impacts of gaming and the development of evidence-based guidelines for healthier gaming practices will also be conducted, as well as event collaboration and participation through forums and dialogues, among other initiatives.
This partnership between AESF and HealthyGaming represents a significant move towards fostering a healthier esports environment. By combining expertise and resources, the aim is to create a supportive community that prioritizes the physical and mental well-being of esports athletes and enthusiasts.
