13 AUG 23

The Road to Asian Games Regionals 2022 (RDAG 2022) FIFA Online 4 for the East Asia Group took place on August 6, 2023, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. We had the privilege to engage in discussions with prominent athletes from the region, including the top-ranked athlete from South Korea, "Kwak," as well as athletes from China, "Yuwen7," and Hong Kong, China PR, "HKGxMarspy." Let's delve into their shared experiences and strategic insights.

Kwak's Winning Strategy

In our conversation with Kwak, we delved into the strategies and tactics that propelled him to success. Kwak disclosed that he openly shared his winning tactics through his YouTube channel, particularly highlighting his "4-2-3-1 formation." This formation, he explained, focuses on maintaining a balance between offense and defence. Through consistent application of this strategy, Kwak has managed to secure numerous victories, showcasing its effectiveness.

When asked about the apparent lack of opponents capable of defeating him despite his open sharing of tactics, Kwak chuckled, admitting that it's a curious phenomenon. He attributed his confidence to rigorous practice and experience in international tournaments, both of which have bolstered his skillset and confidence.

Reflecting on standout athletes and strong opponents, Kwak expressed his lack of concern about athletes from other countries, citing his past triumphs against them in the EA Champions Cup in Korea. His history of triumphs has solidified his belief in his abilities and minimized the challenge these opponents pose.

Addressing the pressure and expectations associated with high-profile events, Kwak conveyed that experience has been his most valuable asset. With time, he has developed an ability to manage pressure effectively, ultimately growing accustomed to it.

In terms of his overall experience participating in the RDAG Regionals 2022 FIFA Online 4, Kwak shared his enthusiasm about the event taking place in his homeland. He expressed his desired goal of securing the gold medal at the 19th Asian Games, considering the current event as a crucial stepping stone towards that achievement.
